How To Connect SLX-D+ with Wireless Workbench Mobile

There are three different ways to connect Wireless Workbench Mobile with SLX-D+ for remote system management. Whether you need fast setup or broader network control, you can choose the connection method that works best for your workflow.

Bluetooth Connection

Bluetooth offers the fastest, direct, and cable-free way to connect a mobile device to up to 7 SLX-D+ receivers. Ideal for quick deployments and localized control.

How to connect via Bluetooth: 

Step 1: Put the Hardware into Pairing Mode
•    Enable pairing mode on the receiver. For SLX-D4+ models, go to Device Configuration > Connectivity > App Connection > Pairing Mode. For SLX-D5+, go to Device > App Connection > Pairing Mode.
Step 2: Connect on Your Phone
•    In the Wireless Workbench Mobile app, go to Menu > Bluetooth
•    Select the device that matches the ID on the receiver
•    Provide a name for your phone that will display on the hardware
•    Confirm Pair on the pairing popup
•    The device now shows in My Devices and in the Inventory (home page)

•    Confirm the hardware menu displays the connection

Wi-Fi Connection

How to connect via Wi-Fi: 
1.    Connect a Wi-Fi router to the same network as your SLX-D+ receivers
2.    On your phone or tablet, enable location services and join the same Wi-Fi network
3.    Open Wireless Workbench Mobile — your devices will be discovered automatically

Ethernet Connection

Ethernet offers stable bandwidth and interference-free communication. Ideal for fixed installations and critical events.

How to connect via Ethernet: 
1.    Connect your phone or tablet to the same network as your SLX-D+ receivers using an Ethernet adapter
2.    In the Wireless Workbench Mobile app, tap the 3 lines in the top right corner
3.    Open App Settings > General and toggle Ethernet on
