ABOUT US

The Mix matters

Shure is committed to creating a work environment that allows every Associate to be their authentic self.
We believe it’s the people, not just our products, that make us successful. Every story of every Associate has left a unique imprint on each product that bears the Shure name.
We honor the diversity of our teams through Associate Resource Groups, International Food Days, mentorship programs, and global awareness celebrations that are designed to promote pride and togetherness at every level.

We've developed IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) initiatives that include Associates worldwide. Each day, they help to define and implement important Company actions in this space that reflect Shure's Core Values.

Shure began in 1925. The world was much different then, but one thing has remained constant through the vision of our founder, S.N. Shure – the appreciation for diversity and inclusion.

What was once a small, downtown Chicago company has expanded to a global presence with associates from different backgrounds and cultures. Our Customers also reflect this diversity as our presence touches every part of the world.

We embrace diversity and inclusion efforts. We now feature four employee “Associate Resource Groups” we call VIBEs—Values, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity. These VIBEs represent different Associate communities and their allies:

  • CARE – Cultural And Racial Equity
  • Pride – LGBTQIA+
  • WE – Women Everywhere
  • Ability – Diverse Abilities

We have expanded these VIBEs regionally to Shure office locations worldwide.

The VIBEs help all of our global Associates in several ways. These include holding panel discussions about relevant topics today, informational campaigns about cultural holidays and observances, involvement in local community activities, and input on relevant marketing and communications.

However, the most important thing the VIBEs accomplish is providing a space for any associate to feel heard and supported.

We thank our VIBE leaders, supporters, members and volunteers for making Shure a more inclusive workplace.

Diversity, whether from tech, music, audio, finance, manufacturing, or beyond, is essential at Shure. We also embrace diversity daily in our workplace because it helps us better understand our diverse global customers, who include television and movie studios, educational institutions, musicians and concert venues, houses of worship, content creators, and individuals who love their music.

Our global VIBEs centre on women, LGBTQIA+, cultural and racial equity, and people with diverse abilities. These affinity groups continue to guide how we think about policies, observances, and other changes our Associates would like to see at Shure.

At Shure, we’re committed to improving Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access in our workplace. We recognise and honour the cultural diversity that our Associates, customers, suppliers, and community bring to our Company every day of the year.

Shure proudly recognizes and celebrates Pride Month with our global LGBTQIA+ Associates, allies, and partners who contribute to our culture of inclusion and innovation every day.

Our Company provides a safe space for all Associates to thrive with dignity and purpose and offers a place where all voices are amplified and heard. That means fostering a culture of respect for all individuals, so we can feel comfortable bringing our authentic selves to work every day of the year.
