As an ongoing effort, Shure is hard at work reducing our carbon footprint and elevating sustainability with significant focus.

Packaging is a key component of this focus, as Shure recognizes that environmental responsibility takes serious commitment. With an aim to both educate consumers as to best practices, and align with global compliance standards, Shure has undertaken the effort to update all packaging components with the appropriate recycling symbols that match their material composition.

Look for the recycling code on your packaging components. Refer to the table below and follow the recycling instructions as noted locally in your region to support sustainability efforts and best practices worldwide.

Packaging Code	What is it?	What to do with it?
	Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Plastic	Rigid PET can be recycled curbside!
	High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastic	HDPE bags and bubble wrap can be recycled (check locally).*
	Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic	Cannot be recycled. Shure is phasing out the use of PVC in packaging.
	Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Plastic	LDPE can be recycled (check locally).*
	Polypropylene (PP) Plastic	PP can be recycled (check locally).*
	Polystyrene (PS) Plastic	Rigid Clear PS (e.g., HIPS) is widely recycled, EPS foam is rarely recycled (check locally).*
	Other Plastic	Cannot be recycled.
	Paper	Paper packaging can be recycled curbside! Most Shure packaging falls in this category.
	Paper Composites	Check locally.*
	Plastic Composites	Check locally.*
