Location Sound

You make your living on a sound stage, in a sports arena, or wherever “on location” takes you. You depend on your wireless system to handle every situation with ease. Presented for the first time at the IBC, the SLXD5 Single-Channel Portable Digital Wireless Receiver and SLXD3 Plug-On Digital Wireless Transmitter bring the superior performance of SLX-D to videography, broadcast, and location sound in new, durable form factors. The ADX5D Dual-Channel Portable Wireless Receiver delivers superior RF performance, spectral efficiency, and transparent audio quality in a portable, slot-in design. Being part of the Axient® Digital wireless system, the ADX5D is compatible with all AD and ADX series transmitters and features ShowLink® Direct Mode that allows remote control of ADX transmitters without the need of external equipment. The AD3 and ADX3 plug-on transmitters as well as the ADX1M micro bodypack complete the Axient® Digital portfolio for EFP applications. If you are searching for a water-resistant or an easily bendable bodypack transmitter, the Q5X AquaMic™ and Q5X PlayerMic® combine the Shure Axient® Digital technology with Quantum5X’s innovative audio solutions to offer superior digital transmission even in the most demanding environments.

For audio professionals in film and TV, the DuraPlex subminiature omnidirectional waterproof lavalier and headset microphones provide exceptional durability and value with its IP57 rating, Shure Plex cable technology, and consistent, neutral, full sound.

Studio Installation

In broadcast studios, flawless production and impeccable sound are key. With the Axient® Digital wireless system, the new Axient® Digital AD600 Spectrum Manager and TwinPlex™ premium subminiature lavaliers and headsets, Shure offers best-in-class sound with outstanding innovative technology. When directional speech capture of the voice is needed, the Shure UniPlex lavalier microphone with a cardioid polar pattern is the right choice.

If a ceiling solution for enhanced directional pick-up is required, the MXA920 Ceiling Array Microphone is the ideal choice. With next-generation array architecture for enhanced directional pickup and more natural speech, the MXA920 is easy to use and quick to deploy for studio applications where there is no time to change microphones for different speakers and visible microphones should be avoided.

As part of the Shure software portfolio, the Designer System Configuration Software enables integrators and system planners to design, deploy and seamlessly commission installations of networked audio systems consisting of Microflex® Advance microphones, audio interfaces, IntelliMix® digital signal processors, Microflex loudspeakers, and control accessories. With the Wavetool Audio Monitoring & Listening Software, Shure seamlessly combines mic monitoring and RF quality monitoring for all audio sources into a single, efficient view.

The Shure Wireless Workbench is a free software for audio professionals that puts a full suite of RF spectrum management tools in one place to give full command of compatible wireless devices.
