The Votes Are In: Shure Special Edition 215 Sound Isolating™ Earphones in Purple Are Coming Later This Year
CHICAGO, April 7, 2022 - Shure fans have spoken; with 29% of the overall vote, purple will be the new 215 Special Edition color! Fans made this color choice through a global vote across 60 countries, enabling every voice to be heard and making for a very close race between the five color options.
First introduced decades ago and now a mainstay in the earphone category, the award-winning Shure 215 Sound Isolating Earphones offer clear sound, a secure fit and the world-renowned Sound Isolating design beloved by musicians, music lovers, mobile gamers and commuters alike. Like its blue and white Special Edition predecessors, the new purple Special Edition 215 will have a subtle boost in the low frequency response compared to other available color variations (black and clear).
By adding the purple earphones to the 215 lineup, listeners can express their personal taste whether they’re on stage or listening to music during their daily commute. Available in wired and wireless options, this fan-favorite color will be arriving this fall.
