Shure Provides All Sound Equipment for Season Two of Hit Series

April 28, 2021

CHICAGO, April 28, 2021—With large concerts still on hold, artists are continuing to get creative and interact with their fanbases. HBO’s A Tiny Audience demonstrates the magic that happens when artists can engage directly with their fans in a personal setting. Upfront and unfiltered, the music series features chart-topping global Latin artists performing three songs that are especially meaningful to them while revealing new insights of their music throughout the episode. All artists performed on Shure Axient® Digital Wireless Systems and monitored their live sets with Shure PSM® 1000 In-Ear Personal Monitoring Systems to ensure uninterrupted audio while filming.

“We knew filming in Miami can be a challenge due to the highly congested RF environment,” said Cory Lorentz, Artist Relations Manager at Shure. “We specifically recommended Axient Digital because every feature has been stress-tested to tackle complex setups and difficult spectrum issues. All Shure gear was selected to help artists and engineers feel at ease and concentrate on their performances.”

A Tiny Audience was filmed inside an NBA-style bubble in Miami, Florida, with a COVID-safe live audience. The“bubble,” located at Miami Studios (formerly the home of TV series Caso Cerrado in Hialeah, Florida), included roughly 150 people comprised of select audience members, crew, and artists who underwent extensive quarantining and rigorous testing before entering the bubble and throughout the two-week production.

Axient Digital provides crystal clear audio and is trusted on the biggest stages worldwide. Developed with input from top audio professionals, every feature is designed to maximize stability, quality, control, and scalability for moments that command the highest degree of attention. Axient Digital’s wide tuning feature offers additional flexibility in tough RF environments, like Miami, where spectrum can be constrained.

All artists sported the Shure PSM 1000 in-ear monitoring system with Sound Isolating™ Earphones to deliver superb audio quality and pristine RF signal, enabling a streamlined setup between live performances.

Season two artists includes Cabas, Pedro Capó, Greeicy, Kany Garcia, Lauren Jauregui, Natalia Jimenez, Los Amigos Invisibles, Lunay, Gian Marco, Mau y Ricky, MDO, Ivy Queen, Justin Quiles, Carlos Rivera, Paulina Rubio, Manuel Turizo, and Vives, who will be interviewed by hosts Sarah Packiam, Maria Elisa Ayerbe, and Daniel René.

New episodes of A Tiny Audience premiere every Friday on HBO Max and HBO Latino until May 7. To learn more about Axient Digital and PSM 1000, visit www.shure.com
