One way to transform your band’s performance is to upgrade to wireless systems. With systems designed specifically for vocals, guitars and other instruments, the GLX-D+ is our latest and, by far, easiest wireless option for vocalists and bands.

When all eyes are on you, it can seem like a safe and obvious choice to stick with your favourite wired microphone. You’ve used it so many times before, it’s never let you down, and all you have to do is plug it in and you’re ready to give your audience a great performance.

But when you’re preparing to go on tour, you also want to bring something fresh - something extraordinary - for your fans to remember. One way to transform your band’s performance is to upgrade to wireless systems. With systems designed specifically for vocals, guitars and other instruments, the GLX-D+ is our latest and, by far, easiest wireless option for vocalists and bands.

If you’ve never used a wireless system before or have no idea where to start when it comes to channels and frequency management, then the new GLX-D+ wireless system is definitely the perfect choice for you. One of the most exciting things about the GLX-D+ is that everything – and yes, we mean everything – is taken care of by the system itself! All you need to do is connect the power supply, press the power button, and the rest will sync for you. In a matter of seconds, you’re ready to perform.

Here are some more reasons why the GLX-D+ is the easiest wireless system for touring vocalists and bands:

1. GOT A LAST-MINUTE GIG? NO PLANNING NECESSARY!
Many wireless systems which use the UHF frequency bands require you to obtain a license in order to use your system on certain frequencies, and in some parts of the country this can be extremely difficult. If you’re running your own show, this might not even be an option you can consider. With the GLX-D+ you never need to worry about licensing before a gig ever again. It is completely license-free because of its Dual Band Technology which operates in 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz. This also doubles the available bandwidth for a clean, reliable signal, no matter where you find yourself on stage!

2. NO AWKWARD DROP-OUTS
Developed from decades of experience in world-leading wireless technology, the GLX-D+ contains innovative smart frequency management which continuously monitors the spectrum and seamlessly moves to a clean channel should any interference appear. In addition to the channel you are using, it cleverly assigns 6 additional backup frequencies which are constantly monitored and switched to if needed, without any interruption to your audio. This means it’s always one step ahead, making sure your signal is clean and secure throughout your performance.

3. EASY ENOUGH TO SET UP YOURSELF
Whether you’re a solo act with just one system or leading a band requiring 4 or 5 systems, the GLX-D+ is so simple you can set everything up yourself, which can help save on costs for your tour. All you need to do is turn on the receiver (the system itself), followed by the transmitter (the microphone or bodypack) and the GLX-D+ automatically connects and remains linked even after you turn off the system. Then, the GLX-D+ automatically scans both the 2.4- and 5.8GHz bands and selects the cleanest channel. All that’s left is to connect the receiver via XLR or ¼” instrument cable to your mixer and you’re ready to go!

If you do need to add multiple systems for guitars or other instruments, you can do that really easily too. You just need to make sure that all of the receivers are set to the same Group (which is likely Group 1 or Group 2, if you are using the standard Dual-Band Mode) and then each receiver will find it’s own clean channel within that group and be able to co-ordinate as needed within the space. We do recommend that you use the GLX-D+ Frequency Manager for 3 or more receivers to best co-ordinate multiple GLX-D+ systems.
