Improvements

• Fixed an issue on the MXWANI control software that prevented channels name changes that were more than 12 characters.

Known Issues

• During Spectrum Scan, modifying MXWAPT configuration settings can put the device in a non-deterministic state. If configuration settings are modified during Spectrum Scan, MXWAPT must be rebooted.
• Microflex Wireless 5.1.26 is not supported by SystemOn version 3.0.

Notes

• Microflex Wireless firmware version 5.1.26 does not support AES67.

Known Issues

• Discovering MXW microphones may take more than 1 minute
• Metering quality for a single location with greater than 32 devices
• UTC time and date are displayed on Event Log and Email/SMS notifications.
• Navigating through an Event Log with hundreds of events may be slow or could cause the system to time out.
• For non-English users setting up SMS notifications, the Senders Phone Number field doesn’t show the required (*), but the field is required.
• If a valid license activation ID is applied and fails on the first attempt, retry a second time before calling support.

Known Issues

• There may be isolated incidents where the app freezes or loses connection to the microphone in iOS 11, especially if you leave the app or lock your phone with the mic connected, then reopen it. If this happens, force-close the app and unplug and re-plug the microphone.
• If you switch to another app by double-tapping the home button, your mic gain may change. We recommend switching between apps by single-tapping the home button and then opening the other app.
• We advise against using Apple AirPods Bluetooth headphones to monitor recordings, as this can lead to changes in mic gain or unwanted noise on the recording.

• When importing a Designer preset file into the MXA910 web application, attempts to immediately export that file out of the web application will fail if it's not first loaded and saved to the MXA910
• When importing a Designer preset file into the MXA910 web application using MXA910 release 2.0.8 and earlier, attempts to use the low shelf filter after rebooting the device will fail if the preset file was not saved to one of the preset slots

Known Issues

• Attempts to download ULXD6/8 transmitter firmware to a ULX-D or QLX-D receiver that is not at the minimum firmware version will fail. To update firmware for ULXD6/8 transmitters with ULX-D or QLX-D receivers:
  1. Update receivers to the following minimum versions:
     • ULXD4, ULXD4D, ULXD4Q Receivers 2.1.16
     • QLXD4 Receivers 2.1.5
  2. Using Shure Update Utility, download ULXD6/8 transmitter firmware to the receivers.
  3. Using the FW Update menu on a receiver, update transmitters.
• Microflex Wireless devices running version 1.X firmware must first be updated to version 2.0.5 before being updated to version 3.X or later.

Notes

• Shure Update Utility (SUU) version 2.4 requires 64-bit operating systems. To install SUU on a 32-bit computer, download version 2.2.2: Windows 7, 8, 10 or Mac OS X 10.9 – 10.11
• Installing Shure Update Utility on Windows will also prompt the installation of a USB driver, which must be installed to support updating USB devices, like GLX-D.
• KSE1500, SHA900 and GLX-D (USB 2.0 connected devices) must be updated one at a time.
• USB hubs are not recommended when updating USB 2.0 connected devices. Always connect these devices directly to a USB terminal of the computer running Shure Update Utility.
• Shure Update Utility 2.4 is compatible with Wireless Workbench 6.12.2 or later.
