<p>The Beta 91A is a half cardioid condenser boundary microphone. You can expect a strong low end response as it is specifically tailored for bass frequency applications, and superior attack and punch for studio quality sound even at extremely high sound pressure levels (SPL). </p>

<h2>What is the difference between the Beta 91A and the Beta 91?</h2>

<p>The Beta 91A features a new and updated microphone capsule. The new capsule will result in a more natural high frequency response than the Beta 91.</p>

<h2>Are there any other Shure Kick Drum microphones? </h2>

<p>The Beta 52A is a super cardioid microphone and is also suited to kick drums. With the Beta 52A you can expect even more low end.</p>

<p>The Beta 98AMP/C provides a smooth and natural sound, and features an integrated XLR preamplifier with a flexible gooseneck.</p>

<h2>What is the difference between the Beta 98AMP/C and the other versions of the Beta 98?</h2>

<p>The Beta 98AMP/C is a cardioid condenser instrument microphone and comes complete with an integrated preamplifier and the A75M universal drum mount. None of the other versions of the Beta 98 contain an integrated preamplifier. The Beta 98AMP/C has a wider dynamic range with a SPL level 7dB higher than Beta 98AD/C and the Beta 98A/C. The Beta 98AD/C is for the same applications and instead contains an A98D drum mount which features a flexible gooseneck. The Beta 98S & Beta 98D/S will continue to be available and have a supercardioid polar pattern. </p>

<p>Please note - any Beta drum microphone featuring the letter 'A' following the model number contains a new capsule and as a result you can expect a more natural high frequency response.</p>

<p>The Shure WB98H/C (the wireless version of the BETA 98H/C) is a premium cardioid condenser instrumental microphone that clamps onto the bell of wind instruments or onto the rim of percussion instruments.</p>

<p>The integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint allows the microphone to be easily positioned and secured in place, and an isolation shock-mount reduces the transmission of instrument 'key noise' and other mechanical noise. A gooseneck angle brace is included to provide better retention of the microphone placement during more active performances.</p>
