4. Disclaimers on Transparency Information

4.1 - Data Volume and Variability

The estimated volume of data provided in Transparency Information is based on the average annual use of the Connected Product or Related Service. Actual data volumes may vary depending on user activity, frequency of use, product configuration, and the specific product and/or related service used.

4.2 - Data Overwrite and System Design Limitations

Depending on the specific Connected Product or Related Service used, certain data (including but not limited to crash/error logs, usage logs, and event logs) may be automatically overwritten based on size limitations, storage capacity constraints, or system design.

4.3 - Product Discontinuation

Certain products or product groups may be subject to discontinuation. Users should refer to specific product documentation or contact Shure for current product availability. Data access and Related Service support may be affected upon product discontinuation.

4.4 - Data Format and Accessibility

For certain products, access to data may depend on the technical configuration and may require the Connected Product to be submitted for servicing or other indirect access methods. Please refer to product user guides and the Connected Product Data Transparency section for product-specific access information. Where direct access is not possible, please contact Shure.

4.5 - Related Service Dependency

The nature, volume, format, and accessibility of Connected Product data may depend on whether Shure Related Services (software/applications) are used together with the Connected Product. Without the use of Related Services, certain data may not be generated, transmitted to Shure, or accessible to the user. Please refer to the Related Service Data Transparency section and the applicable Terms of Use or End User License Agreement for details on each Related Service.

4.6 - Trade Secrets and Confidential Information

Certain data may constitute trade secrets or confidential business information, including but not limited to information relevant for cybersecurity purposes. Access to or sharing of such data may be subject to protective measures, including technical and organisational measures to preserve confidentiality. The scope of any such protection depends on the specific product or service.
