Established in 1941, Liberation Daily was an early external publication of the Communist Party of China. Following the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it has become a daily newspaper published by the Shanghai Liberation Daily Press Group.

Challenge

As the official publicity department of the Shanghai Government, meeting rooms at the Liberation Daily are often used by important government officials. The media outlet has been a satisfied user of Shure discussion & conference systems for more than 10 years. With a growing number of conferences, more people joining, and aligned with long-term goals, the existing system at its main conference room was scheduled for an upgrade. Importantly, to preserve the integrity of the historic and highly valued conference table, the new equipment had to fit into the existing openings without requiring any additional drilling or expansions.
