1.3.4

Recommendation

Update all MXA910 devices in a configuration to the same firmware version.

New Feature

  • A device-wide, low-frequency filter can now be enabled with a new Low-shelf Filter button on the browser-based web application.

Known Issue

  • When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported

Notes

  • This optional update makes installation and configuration more efficient when running independent channels into processing hardware, such as an echo canceller or automixer, to reduce low frequency buildup when channels are summed. This update is unnecessary for MXA910 microphones that are already installed and well-configured, and may require the user to disable the low frequency filter if updated.
  • MXA910 version 1.3.4 is compatible with microphones running version 1.2.6 and below.
  • For operation of MXA910 version 1.3.4 with other Shure networked systems, reference the following list of minimum versions supported:
    • ANI4IN 1.2.6
    • ANI4OUT 1.2.6
    • MXA310 1.2.6
    • Microflex Wireless 4.0.7
    • ULXD4 1.7.34
    • ULXD4Q 1.7.34
    • SCM820 1.3.3
    • Shure Update Utility 2.2.2
    • Shure Web Device Discovery 1.0.18

Improvements

  • Push to Dante feature now appends a -d to the Dante Device Name, preventing discovery issues
  • In Custom Automix Mode, Echo Reduction selections are properly applied
  • TPCI command DEV_LED_IN_STATE now responds to a GET
  • Bug fixes

Known Issue

  • When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported

Notes

  • MXA910 version 1.2.6 is compatible with microphones running version 1.2.6 and below, but it is recommended to update all devices used together to the same firmware version.
  • For operation of MXA910 version 1.2.6 with other Shure networked systems, reference the following list of minimum versions supported:

RECOMMENDATION

Update all Axient devices in a configuration to the same firmware version.

NEW FEATURES

  • Access Control: When activated, it enables users to specify a PIN from Wireless Workbench 6.12 to protect the device from being changed by unauthenticated users of Wireless Workbench 6.12 and ShurePlus Channels. The Access Control status is visible on AXT600.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Low speed added to Fan Mode.
  • Users pressing Enter while in Util > Network will remain in Util > Network instead of jumping to the Home menu.
  • Discover ULX-D and QLX-D receivers in V50 and V51 bands* over the network.

*AXT600 is capable of discovering ULX-D and QLX-D receivers in X52, X53, X54 and Z16 bands. AXT600 will continue to scan within the range of 470-865, 925-952MHz. In the AXT600 band summary list, any band that is not fully supported due to non-tunable frequencies is tagged with *. In the AXT600 CFL list, non-tunable frequencies are indicated with "Monitor for WWB (unknown dBm)". When listening to CFL frequencies, switching to a non-tunable frequency will turn the Listen mode off. The AXT600 CFL Edit/Add menu will allow any frequency for any band, not limited to tunable frequencies.

NEW FEATURE

  • Access Control: When activated, it enables users to specify a PIN from Wireless Workbench 6.12 to protect the device from being changed by unauthenticated users of Wireless Workbench 6.12 and ShurePlus Channels 1.3. The Access Control status is visible on AXT400.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Updated AXT910/AXT920 fuel gauge errors.
  • Low speed added to Fan Mode.
  • Users pressing Enter while in Util > Network will remain in Util > Network instead of jumping to the Home menu.

KNOWN ISSUE

  • When an AXT400 J is set to one of the newly supported UHF-R bands (e.g. G1HK, H4HK, J5HK, L3HK), downgrading the AXT400 J unit from 1.17.10 to 1.15.3 may result in abnormal frequency indication (e.g. 0.000 MHz) as well as a change in the RF band.
