Notes

• This firmware is compatible with Q5X AquaMic™, CoachMic™, and PlayerMic®
• To install Q5X firmware on devices:
  1. Download Q5X 1.2.56 firmware from Shure Update Utility (user guide)
  2. Connect to the AD4D, AD4Q, or ADX5D receiver, and in the Hosted Tx section, select Q5XTx 1.2.56
  3. Send the update to the receiver
  4. Use IR Sync to update the transmitter firmware
• AD4D and AD4Q can only host one transmitter firmware image at a time; if you also need to update Axient Digital transmitters, please repeat the above process, but select an ADTx firmware version.
• To operate this version of Q5X AquaMic™, CoachMic™, and PlayerMic® with other Shure systems and software, see the following list of recommended versions:

Important

• This firmware release can be used to update Microflex Complete (MXC) or DCS 6000 systems using DIS-CCU Central Unit and to update DC5900F and DC5980P devices to register and work in an MXC system.
• Systems using CU 5905, CU 6000, CU 6005, CU 6010, CU 6011, CU 6105, or CU 6110 Central Units are not supported in this release.
• The Firmware Update Utility (FUU) included in this release, is required to be used making the update.
