Senior .Net Backend Developer

You will be a part of an application software development team with 10 colleagues in Copenhagen. We have started the journey to implement SAFe (scaled agile framework) and as a developer you will be part of this agile transformation. In this job, you will contribute to the development of Shure’s ecosystem of software solutions in collaboration with developers from Chicago/USA and Hyderabad/India. The task at hand is to develop new web-based solutions operated from a server or as an individual software application. Your main area of development will be on the backend that serves the web-based frontend application, handles business logic and integrates with Shure’s hardware. We expect that you contribute to all phases of the development process – from idea and concept to prototypes and design as well as implementation.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT and minimum five years of work experience from a similar role. It is required that you have good knowledge of current technologies within backend development. We expect you to be highly skilled in C# and .Net and that you are interested in and have experience with several of the following technologies: MongoDB, ASP.NET Web API and ASP.NET Core. It is an advantage if you have a good understanding of embedded systems, Cloud solutions and that you are familiar with the SOLID design principles. We also expect that your coding quality is high and that you regard testing of your own code as a natural part of the development process.
We expect that you have a strong interest in designing and implementing complex systems with many movable parts and that your solutions are scalable while being easy to read and maintain. As a person, you are focused, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering innovation software solutions. You are passionate about and at the forefront of the development within the above-mentioned technologies and the opportunities they represent.
You are used to working in an agile team and you see opportunities in the challenges that occur, and you thrive on being part of project teams that span multiple cultures and borders. As we are a part of an American company, we expect that you speak and write both Danish and English.
