Specialist/Manager, Market Development

Reporting to Senior Sales Manager, the incumbent identifies, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities.  Plans programs and participates in field events to support sales growth for Company products for focused market segments. Collects customer leads and feedback on Company products, programs, and services. Having the ability and focus on delivering highest level of service through cultivating and engaging, including pre/post sales (technical) support to client, in building long lasting relationship with each account contact.

Representative Duties
  • Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers 
  • Identifying new sales leads and develop pipelines by means of networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, across focused vertical markets and product lines
  • Develops and executes education programs and presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company product categories 
  • Schedules, coordinates, and conducts pre-sales and technical training/service sessions to educate Distribution Centers, System Integrators, Consultants on Shure products' benefits and developing their sales skills/knowledge 
  • Develops and maintains the relationship with the System Integrators, Consultants and end users by working closely with Senior Regional Sales Manager on the sell through process, in providing support on projects' management and commissioning
  • Works collaboratively (by means of technical and logistical support) with marketing team to arranges conferences, seminars, clinics, and other special events 
  • Provides inputs to the Product Marketing / Sales team on the Company's product lines, competitors' activities, both from Product and Market Development standpoint
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Communication/Electronics engineering or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with comprehensive technical knowledge on audio principles and products
  • Good understanding of industry practices and/or company policies/procedures
  • Having experiences in pre(technical sales)/post support processes
  • Able to provide good technical capability and accessibility on Audio (Preferably with AV/IT and RF) related products, including onsite support
  • Technical AV certifications such as CTS, Crestron DMC-D, Dante, Network audio, a PLUS
  • Having knowledge in AV project design, planning and management in market segments such as, office meeting/collaboration spaces, audio/video conferencing and education environment, a PLUS
  • Strong in analytical skills and problem solving from diverse scopes. 
  • Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, well-organized, and good time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good presentation Skills
  • Individual with excellent people skills, self-driven, dynamic, passionate and responsible personality with upright attitude
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment, take on pressure, meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments and be adaptable to work independently, or as a team player
  • Computer Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • About 30% of travel annually
