    Instant USB-C Connectivity

    The MV88 connects instantly to your mobile device using the USB-C port, removing the need for pairing or charging typical of wireless mics. Just plug it in, and you're ready to record high-quality audio immediately.

     

    MV88 provides secure connection with phone cases up to 2.1mm thickness. For cases thicker than 2.1mm, a USB-C extension adapter might be needed.

    Point and record

    Tilt, flip and rotate the microphone up to 90 degrees to ensure your microphone is pointing directly at the sound source.

     

    Video Mode or selfie mode

    The MV88 can be connected via USB-C to face you in selfie mode, or simply unplug and flip around to face away from you to record your subject.

    Selectable Polar Patterns

    • Adjustable Stereo: Adjustable stereo width for a wide or narrow recording using L and R channels. Perfect for field recording and live music.
    • Mono Cardioid: Mono recording using a cardioid polar pattern for directional audio capture. Perfect for spoken word, vlogging, voiceover.
    • Mono Bi-directional: Mono recording to capture even sound from both sides of the microphone. Perfect for a 2-way interview.
    • Raw Mid-side: Records audio using both the front and side capsules. Perfect for music or field recording with great flexibility in post production.
