Shure exhibits new premium Sound Isolating Earphones, Headsets
Developed for the pros, ideal accessories for iPhone, iPod

Frankfurt a.M., March 24, 2010 - - Unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show CES, Shure now exhibits two new professional sound isolating earphones and headsets at the 2010 Prolight + Sound, held March 24-27 in Frankfurt, Germany. Developed for the performing musician, the SE425 and SE535 earphones provide professional audio quality to audiophiles and musicians alike. With new sound signatures, renowned isolation from ambient noise and high wearing comfort, both earphones are ideal accessories for mobile listening devices like the iPhone or the iPod.

The much anticipated SE115m+ Sound Isolating Headset with Remote + Mic has been available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa since early February. Ideal for use with the iPhone 3GS and the latest generation of iPods, the SE115m+ allows users to adjust the volume, control music and video playback, record voice memos and answer or end calls via an integrated threebutton remote and microphone. For all non-Apple devices, the SE115m offers functionality similar to the SE115m+ (SE115m does not allow volume control). The SE115m will be available in spring 2010. Based on the renowned SE115 earphone, the SE115m+ and SE115m provide resonant bass and sound isolation from ambient sound on your daily commute or the next flight.

New sound signatures, renowned isolation

The choice for both demanding professionals and audiophiles, the SE535 utilizes Triple High Definition MicroDrivers – a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers – for spacious sound and rich bass. Featuring Dual High Definition MicroDrivers, the SE425 uses a dedicated tweeter and woofer for accurate and balanced sound. Both earphones come with a wide assortment of accessories including sound isolating sleeves in multiple sizes for up to 30 dB of isolation from ambient noise.

High wearing comfort, convenience

The combination of a new ergonomic form factor, a cable with formable wire and a wide assortment of accessories ensures a secure, comfortable fit even over long periods of time. In
addition, the cables are detachable and lockable, enabling easy replacement and extending the life of your investment.

SE115m+ hardware compatibility

The SE115m+ is made for iPod nano (4th and 5th generation), iPod classic (120GB/160GB), and iPod touch (2nd generation). The remote is supported by iPod shuffle (3rd generation). It works with the iPhone 3GS; audio is supported by all iPod and iPhone models. The SE115m+ requires software version 1.0.3 for iPod nanon (4th generation), 2.0.1 for iPod classic (120GB), and 2.2 or later for iPod touch (2nd generation).

Availability and Recommended Retail Price (Germany)

• The SE425, priced at 279 Euros (RRP), and SE535 for 479 Euros (RRP) will be available in spring 2010
• The SE425 will be offered in two color variations, clear and metallic silver, while the SE535 will be available in clear and metallic bronze.
• The SE115m+ headset is available; the SE115m will ship in spring 2010 as well. Both headsets are/will be offered for 119 Euros (RRP)
