Shure Introduces BRH Broadcast Headsets
New professional headsets premiere at ISE 2012

Eppingen/Germany, January 31, 2012 - - At the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), held January 31 – February 2, Shure unveils two headsets suited for broadcast production and intercom systems. The dual-sided BRH440M as well as the single-sided BRH441M offer high wearing comfort, excellent ambient noise isolation and pristine audio quality. An automatic mute function provides additional convenience for professional users.

Based on the Shure SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones, the closed-back, circumaural design of the new BRH headsets guarantees reliable isolation from background noise. A dynamic microphone with cardioid polar pattern delivers a natural, highly intelligible vocal reproduction while the frequency response is optimised for communication in loud environments.

Both BRH440M and BRH441M feature a flexible, pivoting microphone boom for comfortable left or right side wear. The flip-up mute function automatically deactivates the microphone when raised vertically away from the mouth without the need for a mute button.

The new Shure BRH headsets either offer an ergonomic, lightweight design with an adjustable, padded headband. The detachable cable with unterminated ends enables the connection to a variety of devices. A windscreen and replaceable earpads are also included in delivery.

Both new Shure headsets are on exhibit at ISE, hall 3, booth number 3C88 and will become available in spring 2012.
