Tift Merritt's third album, Another Country, was released March 4, 2008 on Fantasy Records. Her previous albums Bramble Rose (2002) and Tambourine (2004), earned high critical acclaim from Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Time, The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio and CNN.

Both records landed on The New Yorker’s year-end Top Ten List, and Tambourine earned a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album.
