I recently e-mailed you a request concerning a need to replace a Shure VR300 microphone (special manufacture number for an OEM).
Your reply indicated that your currently-available Model 562 was the equivalent type. However, a local Shure sales outlet provided the information that your Model 503BG was, in fact, the correct equivalent.
Can you advise me if there is any essential difference between these two types?
Which of the two would provide the closest match to the no-longer-available VR300?
The 503BG is identical to the VR300. The 562 is nearly the same, but does not have a humbucking coil.
