I am currently using an LX wireless microphone system with a lavalier microphone operating on a frequency of 208.200 MHz. I would like to obtain a new lavalier wireless microphone and keep my current system as a spare system if needed. I would also like to have the capability of having a hand held wireless mic to use when the spare system is not in use. I am considering purchasing an SC wireless system with a lavalier mic and a hand held mic. Could I then set the SC hand held type microphone/transmitter frequency to the 208.200 MHz and use it with my current LX receiver and at the same time use the SC lavalier type microphone/transmitter and SC receiver set to a different frequency.

I would like to know if you have a recommendation for which microphones to specify with the SC system. I will need a lavalier type and a hand held type. It will be used in church services conducted in a gymnasium type building. Controlling feedback is a problem. The lavalier mic will be used mostly by the pastor. Our pastor is a little soft spoken so when using our current LX system (our current LX system is being repaired at your facility at this time so I cannot say which microphone is used with it) I have had some trouble getting enough volume from him without getting feedback. I was thinking about the SC14/84 system with the WL184 microphone or the SC14/85 system with the WL185 microphone. As for the hand held microphone, it will be used mostly by our music leader or occasionally for others singers. The wired type SM58 mics have worked well for this application in the past. I was thinking about the SC2/58 or SC2/Beta58 transmitters. I realize that this is very limited information about the setting the mics would be used in, but I am a novice at selecting sound equipment so I would appreciate any input you could give me. Thank you for your help.
Could I then set the SC hand held type microphone\transmitter frequency to the 208.200 MHz and use it with my current LX receiver? * Yes.
And at the same time use the SC lavalier type microphone\transmitter and SC receiver set to a different frequency? *Yes, but in order not to interfere with the 208.2 MHz frequency, the lavalier system must be set lower than 207.8 MHz or higher than 208.6 MHz.

2) If headworn mic is not acceptable, use the WL185.
