I have a 444D microphone with a standard 4 pin connector on the end for amateur radio use. I don't want to take apart the original plug if I don't have to and would like to make a jumper to my present radio, a TenTec Triton 2 which requires a 1/4 plug.
The 444D's, like many of our communications microphones, was manufactured without a connector. Connectors were added by dealers or by radio manufacturers who bought the microphones for their radios.
The info I need most is what color wire corresponds to which connector on the original plug or if you have it the wiring for the whole jumper.
So, there was no "standard" connector for this microphone.
