NILES, Ill. July 14, 2014—Shure has named Pro Tech Marketing as their Sales Representative of the Year. Pro Tech President Dean Hinton and Vice President Shane Tunnell received the award along with Outside Sales rep Jaylon Shane at this year’s InfoComm convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Shure “Rep of the Year” Award is based on specific sales results and input from various departments within Shure. The winner always has the fundamental elements of a “best in class” firm.

“Pro Tech is an example of a company who has reinvented itself in the past four years to modernize its approach and heed the call to become more strategic in the vertical markets that are target areas of growth for us,” said Mark Humrichouser, Vice President of the Americas BU. “They empower their associates to embrace change and make decisions to improve on a local level.  Pro Tech is very well run, has a very progressive approach to training and education, and is well-staffed for both inside and outside sales. They know their territory and the unique and special markets it contains and adjust to those markets to glean the best results.”

“Being named Shure Rep of the Year is an incredible honor, especially coming from a company that represents quality, innovation, service, and an overall commitment to excellence. These are attributes that our team at Pro Tech strives for each and every day,” said Dean Hinton, President.  “Simply put, when our customers think Pro Tech, they think Shure, and for this association we are very proud and very grateful.”
