Victoria Justice's star continues to rise. The 20 year-old, originally from Hollywood, FL starred in the hit Nickelodeon series, Victorious, which recently won its second Kids’ Choice Award in the category of "Favorite TV Show." On top of that she is a budding sensation in both music and fashion worlds alike. In her Nickelodeon series, Victoria plaid the musically talented “Tori Vega,” who unexpectedly found herself navigating life as a student at “Hollywood Arts High,” an elite performing arts high school.
Victoria’s vocal talents are showcased on “Victorious,” the first official soundtrack from the series. The rest of the cast accompanies Victoria on the 10 original and infectious pop tunes. The Victorious soundtrack was released in August 2011 and debuted at #5 on the Top 200 charts and #2 on the Pop Charts in its first week.
In June 2012, “Victorious 2.0: More Music from the Hit TV Show” (Nickelodeon/ Columbia Records) was released. This album is the follow-up to the hit comedy’s first soundtrack. Victoria’s song “Make It In America” which is featured on the soundtrack aired on a May 2012 episode of “Victorious,” “Tori Goes Platinum.” Coming off the successful launch of the single “Make It in America,” Justice embarked on her first solo tour, named after the single, which recently wrapped on September 14th. In November 2012 “Victorious 3.0: Even More Music from the Hit TV Show” was released. The album features hit tracks like “Here’s 2 Us,” and “Faster Than Boyz.”
In 2012 Victoria’s acting talents graced the silver screen in her major motion film debut of the Paramount Pictures’ feature FUN SIZE. She stars alongside Chelsea handler, Johnny Knoxville, and Thomas Mann, directed by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Gossip Girls). She was also seen in the teen romantic comedy, THE FIRST TIME, which was released in October 2012. The film is directed by Jon Kasdan and premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Justice stars opposite Dylan O’Brief and Britt Robertson.
Victoria’s past credits include Nickelodeon’s “iCarly,” “Zoey 101,” and “Big Time Rush,” as well as guest appearances on “The Penguins of Madagascar,” “The Troop,” “Everwood,” and “Gilmore Girls.”
Victoria has been nominated for Teen Choice and Kids’ Choice Awards, an NAACP Image Award, an ALMA award, as well as an Imagen Foundation Award.
Victoria is currently in the studio writing and recording for her forthcoming solo album.
