 This Joshua Homme-produced album sounds exactly the way God intended live rock 'n' roll to sound: raw, sleazy, and spiffy. It was completed in just 12 days--recorded at world famous Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California and mixed at Eleven AD studios by Alain Johannes and Joshua Homme. This album is more hook-laden than your old job at the bait shop, whether the effervescent and infectious "Cherry Cola" and "I Want You So Hard (Boy's Bad News)" or the sultry and slithering "I Like To Move In The Night" or the country-esque jams "Solid Gold" and "Chase The Devil." Or if you feel like struttin', you simply could do no better than "I Gotta Feelin (Just 19)" or "Shasta Beast."
