DFR11EQ Scene Presets

Up to 10 scene presets may be saved onboard the hardware unit and accessed when using the software interface. Three of these presets are also accessible via the front panel of the hardware. As many scene presets can be saved to your PC as its memory allows.

Why would you want to use scene presets?

  • Partitioned rooms - hotel ballrooms, conference rooms, etc.
  • Changing program material - speech vs. music applications
  • Different microphones being used - fixed position microphones vs. wireless
  • Different talkers - each having their own preset
  • Varying audience sizes
  • Mute button

How it works:

  • Storing a preset on the DFR hardware unit: Any change you make is saved in real-time to the hardware - simply click on the button above the preset number you would like to store settings to, make your change, and it is all stored directly to that preset number (see above picture)
  • Recalling a preset on the DFR hardware unit: Either press one of the front panel buttons (to access any of the first three presets) or click on the button above the preset number in the DFR software
  • Storing a preset to your PC: From the "File" drop down menu on the tool bar in the main control window, choose "Save Scene" and the directory on your PC where you want to save the preset, then click "OK"
  • Recalling a preset from your PC: Click on which preset number in which you want to recall and store the scene in the DFR software, then from the "File" drop down menu on the tool bar in the main control window, choose "Recall Scene"

In addition to PC and front panel control, you can change scene presets with:

  • SIA-Smaart® Pro 3.0
  • DRS-10 Digital Remote Scene Switch Accessory
  • Remote Modem Access
  • Panja (AMX)®
  • Crestron®
