Shure Enhances Secure Dealer Website

Microphone Manufacturer Adds Secure Online Order Entry
 
NILES, IL, January 18, 2007—Shure Incorporated today announced that a new feature has been added to its secure Dealer Website.  In addition to the current functionality of order status and order shipment tracking, Shure dealers may now enter their own product orders online.

 

“This new capability will allow every Shure direct dealer to process ‘real time’ order entry into our system,“ said Mark Humrichouser, Director of Sales. “We anticipate that the new feature will allow our dealers to manage and expedite their purchasing activities, which should make doing business with us a lot easier.”

 

Shure dealers will be able to enter “standard” or “rush” orders, and every online order placed will receive an online acknowledgement.  In addition, a confirmation order will be issued via e-mail once the order is approved by Shure’s credit department. 

 

The URL for the Shure secure dealer Website is https://shop.shure.com. In order to access the new site and its functionality, dealers must fill out and return a “Web Shop Application Form,” which will be e-mailed to all active Shure secure dealer accounts.  This form serves as the agreement for the new service and details of the terms and conditions.  Once the account is activated, dealers will receive a new user ID and password.

 

“Shure dealers who don’t currently have a secure dealer account, but would like to set one up simply need to contact their local Shure Sales Representative to create an account,” added Humrichouser.
