Shure Hires New Director Of U.S. Sales
Mark Humrichouser Brings Fifteen Years Of Industry Experience To Position
NILES, IL, September 25, 2006—Shure Incorporated announced today that Mark Humrichouser has been hired as its new Director of U.S. Sales. He brings fifteen years of experience in sales, technology, and the audio industry to the Company.
Most recently, Humrichouser was Team Manager for Professional Systems and the Music Industry at Sennheiser, following a number of years as a Regional Sales Manager and Regional Market Development Manager. Humrichouser led the twelve-territory Eastern region to be the number one revenue-generating region for Sennheiser. In his role at Shure, Humrichouser will assume responsibility for directing the U.S. Sales Management group.
“Mark’s fifteen years of experience in the audio industry make him particularly well qualified for Shure’s Directorship,“ said Al Hershner, Vice President and General Manager of Shure’s U.S. Business Unit. “Our team of regional and national account managers have significantly advanced the business since last October, making it another record-setting sales year for Shure. I think this sets a pretty good hurdle for Mark.”
Prior to his tenure at Sennheiser, Humrichouser spent four years at Systems Wireless in Herndon, VA as a Sales Manager and Sales Engineer, and became the second sales manager in the company’s twenty-five year history.
Humrichouser received a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Radford University in Virginia in 1989.
