KSM9 Handheld Wireless To Debut At Winter NAMM
Dual-diaphragm condenser design brings studio quality sound to live performance
A reference-quality, wireless handheld microphone built expressly for vocals, the new KSM9 from Shure offers the world of live performance studio quality sound and a pair of industry firsts: dual-diaphragm construction and switchable cardioid/supercardiod versatility. Engineered using precise technical and endurance specifications to cleanly capture the human voice in demanding stage environments, the condenser mic will make its debut at this year's Winter NAMM in booth #6541.
Excellent gain-before-feedback qualities collaborate with minimal proximity effect to give the KSM9 incredibly accurate low frequency response and crystal clear vocal performance. To greatly reduce handling noise, a two-stage shock mount stabilizes both horizontal and vertical movement.
Sold as part of Shure's UHF-R wireless system, KSM9 transmitters are available in black (UR2/KSM9/BK) and champagne (UR2/KSM9/SL) finishes. Replacement cartridges in the same respective colors (RPW180 and RPW184) can be ordered as well. With time-saving setup features including automatic frequency selection and automatic transmitter synch, UHF-R takes the hard work out of managing wireless networks large and small. Providing a sizable 60 MHz bandwidth with no increase in interference thanks to Shure's proprietary Advanced Track Tuning filtering technology, UHF-R enables up to 108 compatible systems to be used simultaneously across multiple bands.
