Shure Celebrates 80th Anniversary With Rock & Roll Trivia Contest
Shure today launched the "Shure Incorporated 80th Anniversary Trivia Contest", which can be found at www.shure.com/contest. The contest will ask site visitors a series of questions about rock and roll and Shure company history. There will be several prize packages for the top-scorers, including products from Shure, Tascam, Allen & Heath, Onstage, HOSA and Martin.
"We wanted to do something special for our 80th anniversary and since this year is being widely regarded as the 50th anniversary of rock and roll, we decided to create this contest," said Terri Johnson, Director of U.S. Marketing Communications for Shure. "We're really happy with the look and feel of the website and we hope everyone who participates has fun testing their music knowledge."
The contest will end on April 15 and the winners will be announced on April 25, which is Shure Incorporated's 80th anniversary.
Open to all U.S. residents, ranging from music fans to working musicians, the contest invites the contestants to pit against each other, answering questions in a timely manner, and earning points for their quick responses. Each contestant's score will be displayed on the website in a ranking from highest to lowest.
The site was designed and programmed by n×tara and Hobbs Design in cooperation with Shure Incorporated's web marketing team.
