Shure Expands Its Global Reach Into China

Microphone and Audio Electronics Manufacturer Opens Facilities in Suzhou and Shanghai

Shure Incorporated announced today it has opened two new locations in China: a manufacturing facility in Suzhou, and a sales and marketing office in Shanghai.

"China is a very important market for our strategic growth goals," said Sandy LaMantia, President and CEO of Shure. "This expansion will strengthen our Company's position by allowing us to respond to the growing global demand for our products."

In preparation for the grand opening, the state-of-the-art Suzhou manufacturing facility has been conducting production trials. Full production of select product lines is expected in the spring.

"The transition of these product lines to our China facility will be transparent to our global distribution partners," added LaMantia.

The Suzhou facility, which is a wholly-owned enterprise, has been equipped with the same caliber of superior testing equipment utilized in other Shure plants, including a brand new anechoic chamber. Investing in equipment like this has made the Company's products famous for their ruggedness and reliability.

The Shanghai sales and marketing office has been established to provide support and service to the increasing number of Shure customers in China.
