Presenters and Performers for the 46TH Annual GRAMMY® Awards Enjoy Shure E3c Earphones

Shure's latest offering in consumer earphones included in GRAMMY Awards Talent Gift Baskets

Shure Incorporated announced today that its award-winning Shure E3c sound isolating earphones were selected to be included in this year's Talent Gift Baskets for the 46th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The E3cs offer an unparalleled listening experience for the music industry's most discerning audience - the artists themselves.

As the recipient of last year's Technical GRAMMY and with eight Shure endorsing artists nominated for awards this year, Shure understands just how critical the pure sound experience is in music. For over a decade musicians have been using Shure earphone technology to monitor or listen to their performances on stage. Launched in January 2004, the E3cs combine the same professional-level audio quality with a sleek new design ideally suited for today's leading portable audio devices, MP3 players, DVD players, etc., making them the ideal addition to this year's Gift Basket.

"When we saw artists taking Shure personal monitors off stage to listen to music on the road, we knew we had a winning product," said Scott Sullivan, Shure's Category Director for Personal Audio. "We're very excited that the E3cs will be included in this year's Gift Baskets."

The 46th Annual GRAMMY Awards were held on February 8, 2004 and broadcasted domestically by the CBS Television Network (8 p.m. ET/PT) from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. Shure's industry-standard microphones and personal monitor systems were used onstage by artists such as Christina Aguilera, OutKast, and Martina McBride, among others. The Gift Baskets are produced by Distinctive Assets, an LA-based entertainment marketing company that has been hired by the Recording Academy®.
