Shure ConferenceONE Discussion Systems
Making Inroads Into European and Latin American Conferencing Market

ConferenceONE systems help Latin American leaders simply communicate

Since its product introduction, ConferenceONE Discussion Systems have quickly gained acceptance among leading European AV rental companies and installers as a complete solution for small-to mid-sized meetings and conferences requiring incredibly easy set-up, superior audio performance and system integration capabilities.

UK
Saville Audio Visual, the UK's largest specialist supplier of audio visual and computer presentation technology, recently purchased 50 channels of ConferenceONE with IntelliMix from Shure Distribution UK. The system has proved popular with both Saville and their customers: three branches hired systems for a variety of conference applications, ranging from an FA Premiership meeting to a Barclays Bank conference. Andrew Ellerby, Technical Support Manager from Saville commented, "Liverpool, Leeds and London branches have now utilized the Shure ConferenceONE discussion system. We've been impressed with how easy the system is to set-up and the excellent quality of the audio. Additionally Shure Distribution UK has provided efficient back-up and technical support."

Furthermore, a 10 channel ConferenceONE system with IntelliMix was supplied to the British Forces through SSVC, a registered charity set up to entertain and inform Britain's Armed Forces around the world. The system will be used in the Falkland Islands.

Germany
Publitec, a German presentation services specialist, acquired an 11 channel system from Shure Distribution Germany for use in hotels with conferencing facilities. Jens Richter, Publitec's Managing Director, stated, "ConferenceONE's main benefit is its ease-of-use - both for audio professionals and for hotel staff with little technical knowledge."

A former Cistercian Monastery was the unique setting for the ConferenceONE installation, by German PA Rental Company Jakob Electronics. The 10-channel system with IntelliMix was temporarily installed in the medieval buildings of the Eberbach Monastery, close to the River Rhine, where they offer conference and meeting facilities.

Austria
Kain Audio Technik, the Austrian Shure distributor, sold a 23-channel ConferenceONE system with IntelliMix to the Linz County Court, a longtime user of Shure SCM810 mixers and Microflex® microphones. The court chose the ConferenceONE discussion system, because it could be easily integrated with their existing Shure products offering a complete integrated audio solution. The judge who used the system first was completely enthused by its user-friendly features and high quality audio.

Turkey
AV rental and event company CSG Tanitim Organizasyon recently acquired a new Shure ConferenceONE discussion system. Shure's distributor in Turkey, Nefan Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd Sti, supplied the 13-channel standard discussion system.

"After hearing a number of congress microphone systems from several other manufacturers, our ownership team and engineering staff decided that the new ConferenceONE system is clearly the best equipment for our needs," stated Can Ozen, Co-owner and President of CSG. He further added., "It has proven to be a very interesting package for us and was a worthy investment." Particularly impressed by ConferenceONE's foldable and thus highly compact design, Ozen is confident that the new system will fully satisfy his customers.

In October, CSG used the ConferenceONE discussion system at Instanbul's Conrad Hotel for a KIA Motors car launch. "Our customer was very impressed by the new conference system and our total performance," concluded Ozen.

Bolivia
At the 13th Ibero-American Summit, Shure ConferenceONE Discussion Systems were chosen to facilitate the historic meeting of heads of Spain, Portugal, and all Latin American countries. Among the dignitaries at the summit, which took place in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia on November 14 and 15, were the King and Queen of Spain and the Vice President of Cuba. This meeting represented the first installation of Shure's new conference system in Latin America.

All leaders participated in group discussions utilizing a 25 channel Standard ConferenceONE Discussion System. According to Raul G. Alcocer Montero of Alcocer Servicios in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, both organizers and sound engineers were extremely positive about the system's performance.

Shure's involvement in the summit did not stop there.
