Stylus Replacement

Installing a Phono Cartridge Stylus
A Shure replacement stylus will restore your Shure cartridge to its originally specified performance levels. We strongly advise against the use of non-Shure styli with our cartridges. Such imitations will not perform the same as the stylus being replaced, and, more importantly, could cause permanent damage to your records - severe mistracking can ruin a record in a single play.

1. Grasp the sides of the stylus grip between your thumb and forefinger.
   
2. Gently withdraw the stylus assembly from the cartridge body.
   
3. Gently insert the new stylus assembly tube into the cartridge, at a slight upward angle, until the stylus grip touches the cartridge body. DO NOT FORCE.
