Sound Isolating Technology
The E2g's in ear design works like an earplug to block background noise naturally. This enables you to listen comfortably at lower volumes -- even in loud environments. And unlike bulky headphones utilizing active noise cancellation technology, no artifacts are introduced into your listening experience. Sound isolating earphones are also much smaller and don't require batteries.
Speaker Type: Dynamic MicroDrivers
The E2g's speakers are constructed with studio-grade components, producing outstanding audio clarity that allows you to hear your music like never before.
Personal Fit Kit
Because every ear is different, E2g Earphones come with three pairs (small, medium, large) of disposable Foam Sleeves, and three pairs (small, medium, large) of Flex Sleeves to ensure the ideal personalized fit.
Secure In Ear Design
The soft, flexible sleeves in the Fit Kit gently contour the inside of the ear for a comfortable, secure fit so that the earphones don't fall out while you're exercising.
Low-Profile Earphone Cables
The E2g's cables pass behind the ear - out of sight and out of the way -- to provide a more comfortable, discreet fit.
Lightweight Construction
Weighing only 1 oz (30g), the E2g is lightweight and comfortable enough for any portable listening application -- packing a big punch in such a compact package.
Earphones Carrying Case
The E2g comes with a stylish, compact carrying case. The cable spool inside provides a convenient, tangle-free way to store your earphones.
Two-Year Limited Warranty
Every E2g purchased comes with a two-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship. (See warranty information)

How to use
It's important to fit your E2g earphones properly into your ears. Read the earphones fitting tips for help on wearing your earphones.
"The makers of Shure have basically upped the ante within the market of headphones and sound gear...after I customized them to my ear canal, I heard nothing else at all. Not even the screaming neighbor's kids."

"Shure sent over their entry level E2c (nice sound, $99), the E3c ($179), and E5c ($499, possibly the most neutral-sounding headphones I've ever listened to, as well they should be for the price) …My favorite is the E3c, which comes close to matching the E5c's sound without the slightly larger dual-driver enclosure (yes, the E5c actually has separate itty bitty bass and treble drivers crammed in there somehow). For my ears, the E3c's are more comfortable, and I've worn them while mowing the lawn, on international flights, at my desk, in the NY subway system."

"And unlike noise-canceling headphones that add frequencies to neutralize background noise, the E Series uses a 'Fit Kit' -- soft, flexible pleasure nubs that conform to your inner ear -- to block out external noise and allow you to hear more detail at lower volumes. And, ooh, what detail you'll hear. Solid, gut-punching bass and crisp, ear-piercing highs, even in the lower-end unit. Yes, they're expensive, but think of all the money you saved with Kazaa!"
