Shure QuietSpot® Headsets to be sold through Sprint Retail Channels
Shure headsets available in Sprint Stores and on Sprint Web site
Shure Incorporated announced today that Shure QuietSpot™ headsets for mobile phones are now available to Sprint PCS (NYSE: FON, PCS) customers through the official Sprint PCS Accessories Website (www.sprintpcsaccessories.com). Beginning in May, the QuietSpot headsets will also be available in Sprint retail stores nationwide.
The Shure QuietSpot headsets are being heralded as the ideal accessory for numerous mobile devices, including the Handspring Treo 600. The lightweight headsets use a unique in-ear design to stay securely and comfortably in place even during long conversations. The NoiseBlocker earphone effectively blocks 20 dB or 80% of ambient noise, while the noise-canceling boom microphone reduces surrounding noise by up to 70%. The combination of superior audio technologies and innovative design makes the QuietSpot a must-have accessory when sound clarity is a top priority.
"For 78 years, Shure has been building audio equipment that delivers on the promise of true sound, and with the QuietSpot, cell phone users can finally experience what happens when headsets are made by the audio experts," said Brian Woodland, Director of Personal Audio Sales, Shure Inc. "We're thrilled to enter into this partnership with Sprint as our business philosophy mirrors theirs -- give people premium audio quality and make wireless easy for consumers."
